Dance that moves!
With PLEASE, HOLD ME, Nunzio Impellizzeri places the dance in audiences' hands. Not least because of the current restrictions on culture, the choreographer intends to raise awareness and reverse the public's perception of the value of arts and dance.
PLEASE, HOLD ME is a participative performance installation - a solo for two: a performer and an active person from the audience are connected without direct contact. The creation explores the multi-layered principle of "support". The audience personally experiments the dimensions of "support" and chooses whether to be the weight or the prop of the performance.
The performance is performed in 15-minute loops. At the end of each loop, the audience is asked to leave the stage. New audience members may enter. The first loop will begin at 19:00 and the last loop will end at approximately 21:15. There is the possibility to repeat loops.
