Emotions are the common ground between art and relationships, and it is precisely from there that Nunzio Impellizzeri’s PINK CARPET begins: from the first human relationship – that with one’s mother – put to the test by the painful experience of dementia and transformed into a sequence of glances, gestures and movements, immersed in a soundscape that is at times minimalist, at times familiar, and at other times baroque and enveloping, punctuated by sudden, suspended silences.
