is a choreographer known for his unique imprint, dynamics and innovative use of space, which characterizes his creations.
His body language is universal and so intense that it goes beyond any verbal expression.

Visual art significantly impacts his creations; after his studies in Art, with specialization in painting, sculpture and costume, dance was the peak of his artistic training. Nunzio is simultaneously a choreographer, costume designer and scene designer for many of his works, which are characterised by an extreme attention to detail.

Nunzio's productions are born from his personal observation of human existence and social contexts. He wishes to lead the spectator to reflect and question social phenomena. Intricate movement patterns are impregnated with an intense physicality to convey a clear dramaturgy.

The smart choice of dancers leads to heterogeneous constellations with a strong stage presence, while still leaving space for their individual language. The dynamism of the bodies merges with a valuable use of the music, making Nunzio Impellizzeri's unique creations.

Nunzio describes his intention whilst working on a new project:
"Before starting a new production, the first question I ask myself is: What do I really want to convey with this work?"
