Ioar Labat comes from Tafalla, a small town in the north of Spain. He began his dance studies at the Navarra government school. Shortly after, he moved to Barcelona, specifically to the professional conservatory of the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona. Over the years, he had the opportunity to be part of John Neumeier's Hamburg Ballet school. At the age of 20 he finished his dance studies and began his professional career in the company It Dansa, director Catherine Allard. He joined the Company for three years. Currently he is a freelance dancer in different artistic projects in Barcelona, Madrid and Switzerland.
